Gucci were looking for AR to create a unique buzz around the brand, and drive footfall into the store and online. 

Similar to the in-store experience, except all over the city. Like Pokémon Go, 10 garments from the collection have escaped from the store and must be collected and brought back to the store to be in with the chance of winning a piece of clothing. If the customer can’t wait that long, they have the option to buy the garment there and then.

The pitch concept was similiar to Pokémon Go, 6 garments from the collection have escaped from in store and must be collected and brought back to the store. The winner gets entered into a draw for the chance to win a Gucci item.
